1. 1 pound bulk pork sausage -
2. 1 tube (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls -
3. 2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese -
4. 8 large eggs -
5. 2 cups 2% milk -
6. 1/2 teaspoon salt -
7. 1/4 teaspoon pepper -

How to cook deliciously - Sausage & Crescent Roll Breakfast Casserole

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 375°F. In a large skillet, break the sausage into crumbles and cook it over medium heat, for six to eight minutes or until it's no longer pink. Drain the sausage and discard the grease.

2. Stage

Unroll crescent roll dough into a greased 13x9-inch baking dish and press to seal any seams and perforations. Sprinkle the sausage and cheese on the dough. Whisk eggs, milk, salt and pepper in a bowl and pour over the sausage and cheese.

3. Stage

Bake uncovered for 35 to 40 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let the casserole stand for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
