1. Sweet Italian sausage links - 4
2. Hot Italian sausage links - 4
3. Red bell pepper, sliced - 1
4. Sweet onion, sliced - 1
5. Green bell pepper, sliced - 1
6. Yellow bell pepper, sliced - 1
7. Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
8. Ragu® Old World Style® Traditional Pasta Sauce - 1 (24 ounce) jar
9. Hearty bread - 1 loaf
10. Fresh basil, leaves removed and torn - 1 bunch

How to cook deliciously - Slow Cooker Sausage and Peppers

1. Stage

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook sausages, turning to brown all sides, 4 to 5 minutes.

2. Stage

Place browned sausage in slow cooker. Add the peppers, onions, garlic, and Ragu® Old World Style® Traditional Pasta sauce to the slow cooker; stir. Turn to low and cook for 6 to 8 hours.

3. Stage

Serve over slices of hearty fresh bread; garnish with fresh basil.
