2. Egg replacer - 2 tablespoons
3. Shredded vegan cheese - 1 cup
4. Grated tofu - ½ cup
5. Nutritional yeast - ¼ cup
6. Salt - 1 teaspoon
7. Garlic powder - ½ teaspoon
8. Finely chopped onion - ½ cup
9. Finely chopped pecans - ½ cup
10. Italian seasoning - 1 tablespoon
11. Dried basil - 1 teaspoon
12. Dried sage - ½ teaspoon
13. Dry bread crumbs, or more as needed - 1 cup
14. Grape jelly - ¾ cup
15. Ketchup - ½ cup
16. Olive oil - ¼ cup
17. White vinegar - ¼ cup
18. Chopped garlic - 1 tablespoon
19. Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Vegan Sweet and Sour Meatballs

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Mix warm water and egg replacer together in a large bowl. Stir in vegan cheese, tofu, nutritional yeast, salt, and garlic powder. Add onion, pecans, Italian seasoning, basil, and sage; mix until well combined. Stir in enough bread crumbs to reach a moist, crumbly texture.

Form mixture into 1 1/2-inch balls and place in an 8-inch baking pan.

Mix grape jelly, ketchup, olive oil, vinegar, garlic, and oregano in a separate bowl. Pour over meatballs.
