Ingredients for - Aguachile

1. Large shrimp - peeled, deveined, and butterflied 1 pound
2. Freshly squeezed lime juice 1 ¼ cups
3. Fresh serrano chiles, stemmed 4
4. Fresh cilantro leaves and stems ⅓ cup
5. Salt, divided, or to taste 1 ½ teaspoons
6. Red onion, thinly sliced 1 small
7. Avocado - peeled, pitted, and sliced 1
8. Cucumber, sliced 1

How to cook deliciously - Aguachile

1 . Stage

Divide shrimp onto two shallow plates.

2 . Stage

Blend lime juice, chiles, cilantro leaves and stems, and 1 teaspoon salt in a blender until smooth. Pour 1/2 of the mixture over each plate of shrimp.

3 . Stage

Cover and marinate in the refrigerator until shrimp turn opaque and white, 15 to 25 minutes.

4 . Stage

To serve, top each plate with red onion and avocado. Place cucumber around the edges. Sprinkle with remaining salt.
