1. Penne pasta 1 (8 ounce) package
2. Broccoli florets 3 cups
3. Boneless beef chuck, partially frozen 12 ounces
4. Olive oil 1 tablespoon
5. Onion, cut into 1/2-inch slices 1
6. Garlic, minced 2 cloves
7. All-purpose flour 1 tablespoon
8. Salt ¼ teaspoon
9. Ground black pepper ¼ teaspoon
10. Beef broth 1 (14 ounce) can
11. Tomato paste ¼ cup
12. Dijon mustard 1 teaspoon

1 . Stage

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil; add penne and cook, stirring occasionally, until mostly cooked, about 8 minutes. Add broccoli; continue cooking until penne is tender, about 3 minutes more. Drain and keep warm.

Trim beef and slice into thin bite-size strips.
