1. Green bell pepper, chopped 1
2. Yellow onion, chopped 1
3. Sliced and quartered pepperoni 2 cups
4. Fresh mushrooms, sliced 16 ounces
5. Tomato paste 1 (6 ounce) can
6. Spaghetti sauce 1 (32 ounce) jar
7. Garlic, peeled and minced 1 clove
8. Rigatoni pasta 1 cup
9. Rotini pasta 1 cup
10. Macaroni 1 cup
11. Ricotta cheese 1 pound
12. Shredded mozzarella cheese, divided 2 cups
13. Grated Parmesan cheese ¼ cup

How to cook deliciously - Cavatini II

1 . Stage

In a large saucepan, combine green pepper, onion, pepperoni, mushrooms, tomato paste, spaghetti sauce, and garlic. Cover, and simmer for one hour.

2 . Stage

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook pasta in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente; drain.

3 . Stage

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

4 . Stage

Mix together pasta, ricotta, 1 1/2 cups mozzarella, and Parmesan. In a 9x13 inch baking dish, alternate pasta and cheese mixture and sauce mixture, ending with sauce. Top with remaining mozzarella.

5 . Stage

Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
