Ingredients for - Chickpea Curry

1. Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
2. Onions, minced - 2
3. Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
4. Fresh ginger root, finely chopped - 2 teaspoons
5. Whole cloves - 6
6. Cinnamon, crushed - 2 (2 inch) sticks
7. Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
8. Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
9. Salt - 1 teaspoon
10. Cayenne pepper - 1 teaspoon
11. Ground turmeric - 1 teaspoon
12. Garbanzo beans - 2 (15 ounce) cans
13. Chopped fresh cilantro - 1 cup

How to cook deliciously - Chickpea Curry

1. Stage

Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat, and fry onions until tender.

2. Stage

Stir in garlic, ginger, cloves, cinnamon, cumin, coriander, salt, cayenne, and turmeric. Cook for 1 minute over medium heat, stirring constantly. Mix in garbanzo beans and their liquid. Continue to cook and stir until all ingredients are well blended and heated through. Remove from heat. Stir in cilantro just before serving, reserving 1 tablespoon for garnish.
