Ingredients for - Ham and Pineapple Couscous Salad

1. Water - 1 cup
2. Butter - 2 tablespoons
3. Garlic powder - ½ teaspoon
4. Couscous - 1 cup
5. Cooked ham, cut into 1/2 inch pieces - 4 ounces
6. Pineapple chunks, juice reserved - 1 (8 ounce) can
7. Red onion, sliced - ½ small
8. Frozen green peas, thawed - 1 cup
9. Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
10. Dijon-style prepared mustard - 1 tablespoon
11. Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
12. Salt and pepper to taste - 1 tablespoon

How to cook deliciously - Ham and Pineapple Couscous Salad

1. Stage

In a large saucepan, bring water, butter and garlic powder to a boil. Turn off heat and stir in couscous. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and let cool.

2. Stage

In a large bowl, mix together couscous, ham, pineapple, onion and drained peas

3. Stage

In a small bowl whisk together 1/4 cup reserved pineapple juice, lemon juice, Dijon-style mustard and vegetable oil. Pour dressing over the salad and stir to coat. Salt and pepper to taste.
