Ingredients for - Ham and Pineapple Couscous Salad

1. Water 1 cup
2. Butter 2 tablespoons
3. Garlic powder ½ teaspoon
4. Couscous 1 cup
5. Cooked ham, cut into 1/2 inch pieces 4 ounces
6. Pineapple chunks, juice reserved 1 (8 ounce) can
7. Red onion, sliced ½ small
8. Frozen green peas, thawed 1 cup
9. Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
10. Dijon-style prepared mustard 1 tablespoon
11. Vegetable oil 1 tablespoon
12. Salt and pepper to taste 1 tablespoon

How to cook deliciously - Ham and Pineapple Couscous Salad

1 . Stage

In a large saucepan, bring water, butter and garlic powder to a boil. Turn off heat and stir in couscous. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and let cool.

2 . Stage

In a large bowl, mix together couscous, ham, pineapple, onion and drained peas

3 . Stage

In a small bowl whisk together 1/4 cup reserved pineapple juice, lemon juice, Dijon-style mustard and vegetable oil. Pour dressing over the salad and stir to coat. Salt and pepper to taste.
