1. Shredded romaine lettuce - 6 cups
2. Cherry or grape tomatoes, halved - 1 cup
3. Chopped yellow bell pepper - 1 cup
4. Chopped fennel bulb - 1 cup
5. Cubed fresh mozzarella cheese - 1 ½ cups
6. Bison sausage with pepperoni seasoning - 1 (8 ounce) package
7. Mayonnaise - ⅔ cup
8. Sour cream - ⅔ cup
9. Milk - ¼ cup
10. Chopped fresh basil - ¼ cup
11. Salt - ½ teaspoon
12. Black pepper - ¼ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Italian Layered Salad with Bison Pepperoni

1. Stage

In the bottom of a 3-quart clear bowl place 3 cups of the romaine. Layer in the following order: tomatoes, bell peppers, fennel, the remaining 3 cups romaine, the mozzarella cheese, and bison pepperoni. Spoon Basil-Sour Cream Dressing over salad. Serve immediately or cover tightly and chill for up to 24 hours before serving.
