Ingredients for - Pickled Turnips

1. Turnips, peeled and sliced into 1/2-inch wedges - 2
2. Beet, thinly sliced - 1 small
3. Garlic, chopped - 2 cloves
4. Distilled white vinegar - 1 cup
5. Water - 1 cup
6. White sugar - 1 teaspoon
7. Sea salt - 1 teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Pickled Turnips

1. Stage

Divide turnips, beet, and garlic between two 16-ounce Mason jars.

2. Stage

Combine vinegar, water, sugar, and salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and pour over turnips, leaving 1/2 inch of space on top. Seal jars and refrigerate for 1 week.
