Ingredients for - Plum Pudding II

1. Butter - ¼ cup
2. Brown sugar - ⅓ cup
3. Milk - 1 cup
4. Dates, pitted and chopped - 12
5. Raisins - ½ cup
6. Dried currants - ¼ cup
7. Candied mixed fruit peel, chopped - ¼ cup
8. Orange, zested - 1
9. Baking soda - 1 teaspoon
10. Self-rising flour - 1 cup
11. Ground cinnamon - 2 teaspoons
12. Salt - 1 pinch

How to cook deliciously - Plum Pudding II

1. Stage

Well grease a pudding mold.

2. Stage

In a large saucepan combine butter, sugar, milk, dates, raisins, currants, mixed fruit peel and zest of the orange; bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda. Sift in the flour, cinnamon and salt; mix gently until blended. Pour into prepared pudding mold.

3. Stage

Cover with a double layer of greased wax paper and steam for 2 hours.
