Ingredients for - Potato and Cheddar Soup

1. Water - 2 cups
2. Peeled and cubed red potatoes - 2 cups
3. Melted butter - 3 tablespoons
4. Onion, chopped - 1 small
5. All-purpose flour - 3 tablespoons
6. Salt and pepper to taste - 3 tablespoons
7. Milk - 3 cups
8. White sugar - ½ teaspoon
9. Shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 cup
10. Diced ham - 1 cup

How to cook deliciously - Potato and Cheddar Soup

1. Stage

Using a medium sized stock pot bring water to a boil, add potatoes and cook until tender. Drain reserving 1 cup liquid.

2. Stage

Stir in butter, onion and flour. Season with salt and pepper. Gradually stir in potatoes, reserved liquid, milk, sugar, cheese, and ham. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
