Ingredients for - Potato and Cheddar Soup

1. Water 2 cups
2. Peeled and cubed red potatoes 2 cups
3. Melted butter 3 tablespoons
4. Onion, chopped 1 small
5. All-purpose flour 3 tablespoons
6. Salt and pepper to taste 3 tablespoons
7. Milk 3 cups
8. White sugar ½ teaspoon
9. Shredded Cheddar cheese 1 cup
10. Diced ham 1 cup

How to cook deliciously - Potato and Cheddar Soup

1 . Stage

Using a medium sized stock pot bring water to a boil, add potatoes and cook until tender. Drain reserving 1 cup liquid.

2 . Stage

Stir in butter, onion and flour. Season with salt and pepper. Gradually stir in potatoes, reserved liquid, milk, sugar, cheese, and ham. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
