2. Uncooked short-grain white rice - 1 ½ cups
3. Coconut milk, divided - 1 ½ cups
4. White sugar - 1 cup
5. Salt, divided - ¾ teaspoon
6. White sugar - 1 tablespoon
7. Tapioca starch - 1 tablespoon
8. Mangos, peeled and sliced - 3
9. Toasted sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon

How to cook deliciously - Thai Sweet Sticky Rice With Mango (Khao Neeo Mamuang)

1. Stage

Combine water and rice in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, cover, and reduce heat to low. Simmer until water is absorbed, 15 to 20 minutes.

While the rice cooks, combine 1 1/2 cups coconut milk, 1 cup sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon salt in another saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat; remove from the heat and set aside.
