1. Salt, divided - 1 teaspoon
2. White sugar, divided - 1 teaspoon
3. White asparagus - peeled, trimmed, and cut into 1-inch pieces - 1 ¾ pounds
4. Orange juice - 3 tablespoons
5. Plain yogurt - 2 tablespoons
6. Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
7. Creme fraiche with herbs - 2 tablespoons
8. Salt and ground black pepper to taste - 2 tablespoons
9. Hulled and quartered strawberries - 2 cups
10. Green leaf lettuce - 4 leaves
11. Chopped fresh chives - 1 tablespoon

How to cook deliciously - White Asparagus Salad with Strawberries

1. Stage

Fill a pot with water; add 1/2 teaspoon each salt and sugar. Bring to a boil. Add white asparagus, reduce heat to low, and simmer until soft and cooked through, 10 to 15 minutes. Drain and let cool.

2. Stage

Combine orange juice, yogurt, mayonnaise, and creme fraiche in a large bowl. Season with remaining salt, sugar, and pepper. Add cooled asparagus and strawberries and mix well.

Arrange lettuce leaves on plates and distribute asparagus salad on top. Sprinkle with chives.
