Ingredients for - Banana Oatmeal Cookie

1. Sifted all-purpose flour - 1 ½ cups
2. Baking soda - ½ teaspoon
3. Salt - 1 teaspoon
4. Ground nutmeg - ¼ teaspoon
5. Ground cinnamon - ¾ teaspoon
6. Shortening - ¾ cup
7. White sugar - 1 cup
8. Egg - 1
9. Mashed bananas - 1 cup
10. Quick cooking oats - 1 ¾ cups
11. Chopped nuts - ½ cup

How to cook deliciously - Banana Oatmeal Cookie

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

2. Stage

Sift together the flour, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon.

3. Stage

Cream together the shortening and sugar; beat until light and fluffy. Add egg, banana, oatmeal and nuts. Mix well.

4. Stage

Add dry ingredients, mix well and drop by the teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.

5. Stage

Bake at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 15 minutes or until edges turn lightly brown. Cool on wire rack. Store in a closed container.
