1. 1 small head cabbage, shredded -
2. 1/2 cup chopped green pepper -
3. 1/2 cup chopped onion -
4. 3 tablespoons mayonnaise -
5. 2 tablespoons white vinegar -
6. 1 tablespoon sugar -
7. 1/4 teaspoon salt -
8. 4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled -

How to cook deliciously - Cabbage Salad

1. Stage

In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, green pepper and onion.

In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar and salt.

Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss to coat.

Cover the salad and refrigerate for at least four hours. Stir in the bacon just before serving. Editor's Tip: Letting the cabbage salad chill allows the flavors to meld and the cabbage to soften slightly. And adding the bacon last ensures that it stays nice and crisp.
