1. Thinly shredded purple cabbage - 2 cups
2. Shredded carrots - 1 (10 ounce) bag
3. Dried cranberries - ¾ cup
4. Onion, thinly sliced - ½ medium
5. Chopped fresh parsley, or to taste - 2 tablespoons
6. Balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing - ½ (8 ounce) bottle
7. Lemon juice, or to taste - 1 teaspoon
8. Salted sunflower seeds - ¼ cup
9. Crumbled blue cheese, or to taste - ½ cup

How to cook deliciously - Carrot Slaw

1. Stage

Mix cabbage, carrots, cranberries, onion, and parsley in a medium bowl. Toss lightly. Add dressing and lemon juice. Toss, coating well. Cover and refrigerate until flavors blend, 3 hours to overnight. Sprinkle with sunflower seeds and blue cheese right before serving.
