1. Ground pork 2 pounds
2. Bacon, chopped 8 thick slices
3. Diced tomatoes, drained 1 (14.5 ounce) can
4. Onion, chopped 1
5. Green bell peppers, chopped 3 small
6. Tomato paste 1 (6 ounce) can
7. Chili seasoning (such as McCormick®) 1 (1.25 ounce) package
8. Garlic powder, or more to taste 1 pinch
9. Onion powder, or more to taste 1 pinch
10. Salt and ground black pepper to taste 1 pinch
11. Ground cayenne pepper, or more to taste 1 pinch

How to cook deliciously - Caveman Chili

1 . Stage

Place pork in a skillet over medium heat; season with salt and pepper. Cook and stir until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard grease. Transfer pork to a slow cooker.

2 . Stage

Place bacon in the hot skillet and cook over medium-high heat until evenly brown, about 10 minutes. Drain and discard grease. Transfer bacon to the slow cooker.

3 . Stage

Combine drained tomatoes, onion, green bell pepper, and tomato paste in the slow cooker. Add seasoning packet, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper; stir to combine.

Cook on Low until flavors have combined, about 6 hours.
