Ingredients for - Cookson Stew

1. Ground pork sausage - 1 pound
2. Pinto beans - 1 (16 ounce) can
3. Sliced jalapeno peppers - 1 (4 ounce) can
4. Kidney beans - 1 (15 ounce) can
5. Yellow wax beans - 1 (14.5 ounce) can
6. Baked beans with pork - 1 (16 ounce) can
7. Barbeque sauce - 1 (18 ounce) bottle
8. Peeled and diced tomatoes - 1 (28 ounce) can
9. Tomato paste - 1 (6 ounce) can
10. Brown sugar - ½ cup

How to cook deliciously - Cookson Stew

1. Stage

Place sausage in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside.

2. Stage

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

3. Stage

In a large oven proof pot or Dutch oven, combine cooked sausage, pinto beans, peppers, kidney beans, wax beans, baked beans, barbeque sauce, chopped tomatoes, tomato paste and brown sugar. Note that all of the juice from the cans is added as well.

Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes.
