1. Butter or margarine - 2 tablespoons
2. Green onions, sliced - 4 medium
3. Celery, sliced - 1 stalk
4. Potatoes, peeled and sliced 1/4 inch thick - 3 medium
5. Swanson® Chicken Broth or Swanson® Certified Organic Chicken Broth or Swanson® Natural Goodness® Chicken Broth - 1 ¾ cups
6. Ground black pepper - ⅛ teaspoon
7. Milk - 1 ½ cups

How to cook deliciously - Creamy Irish Potato Soup

1. Stage

Melt butter in a 3-quart saucepan over medium heat. Add green onions and celery; cook and stir until onion is translucent, 5 to 7 minutes.

2. Stage

Add potatoes, broth, and pepper; bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes. Add milk and blend with an immersion blender until smooth. Continue to cook until heated through, 3 to 5 more minutes.
