Ingredients for - Herbed Quinoa and Chickpea Pilaf
1. GOYA® Extra Virgin Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
2. GOYA® Recaito - 2 tablespoons
3. GOYA® Organic Quinoa - 1 cup
6. GOYA® Chick Peas, rinsed and drained - 1 (15.5 ounce) can
7. Mint leaves, chopped - ½ cup
8. Parsley leaves, chopped - ½ cup
9. Toasted hazelnuts or pistachios, chopped - ⅓ cup
How to cook deliciously - Herbed Quinoa and Chickpea Pilaf
1. Stage
Combine oil, Recaito, quinoa, orange juice, salt and 3/4 cup water to boil. Simmer covered over medium-low heat, until liquid is absorbed and quinoa is tender, 20 minutes. Stir in chick peas. Remove from heat and let stand, covered, for 5 minutes. Stir in mint, parsley and hazelnuts.
