1. White wine vinegar - ⅓ cup
2. Toasted sesame oil - 2 teaspoons
3. Vegetable oil - 2 teaspoons
4. Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
5. Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
6. Sugar - 1 tablespoon
7. Minced fresh ginger root - 1 teaspoon
8. Salt - ¼ teaspoon
9. Napa cabbage, thinly sliced - 1 small head
10. Carrots, peeled and grated - 2
11. Toasted sesame seeds - ¼ cup
12. Scallions, thinly sliced - 4

How to cook deliciously - Napa Cabbage Slaw with Carrots and Sesame

1. Stage

Bring white wine vinegar to a simmer in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook until reduced to 2 tablespoons, 4 to 6 minutes. Transfer to a large bowl and let cool completely, about 10 minutes. Whisk in sesame oil, vegetable oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, ginger, and salt.

2. Stage

Add cabbage and carrots to the bowl with the dressing and toss to coat. Let stand 5 minutes. Add sesame seeds and scallions.
