1. White wine vinegar ⅓ cup
2. Toasted sesame oil 2 teaspoons
3. Vegetable oil 2 teaspoons
4. Rice vinegar 1 tablespoon
5. Soy sauce 1 tablespoon
6. Sugar 1 tablespoon
7. Minced fresh ginger root 1 teaspoon
8. Salt ¼ teaspoon
9. Napa cabbage, thinly sliced 1 small head
10. Carrots, peeled and grated 2
11. Toasted sesame seeds ¼ cup
12. Scallions, thinly sliced 4

How to cook deliciously - Napa Cabbage Slaw with Carrots and Sesame

1 . Stage

Bring white wine vinegar to a simmer in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook until reduced to 2 tablespoons, 4 to 6 minutes. Transfer to a large bowl and let cool completely, about 10 minutes. Whisk in sesame oil, vegetable oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, ginger, and salt.

2 . Stage

Add cabbage and carrots to the bowl with the dressing and toss to coat. Let stand 5 minutes. Add sesame seeds and scallions.
