7. Lemon juice - 1 ½ teaspoons
8. White sugar, or more to taste - 1 teaspoon
9. Salt - 1 teaspoon
10. Ground black pepper to taste - 1 teaspoon

1. Stage

Combine oil, onion, vinegar, sesame seeds, ginger, umeboshi, lemon juice, sugar, salt, and pepper in a blender. Cover and purée until smooth, about 30 seconds.
