This amount is for three rolls. Boil the potatoes in their skins until tender, cool and peel. Peel apples, remove the middle and cut into slices, pour cold water with the juice of half a lemon. Rinse lingonberries or raisins and pour boiling water over them for 10 minutes, then strain.

Grate the potatoes with a fine grater or pass them through a meat grinder. Add salt, egg and flour.

Divide the dough into three pieces. From each piece roll out a rectangle, make side notches about 8 cm long slightly obliquely. Grease the middle with thick sour cream.

Place apples, cranberries, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon on the sour cream. Cover the top and bottom ends with dough. On the sides of the notched dough fold on top of a herringbone. An important addition: the dough should be rolled out immediately on baking paper, and then folded together with the paper on the baking tray. I neglected to do this, which is why my rolls turned out so unsightly, because it is very difficult to transfer them to the baking tray from the table.

Put the rolls on a baking tray, brush with melted butter and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees until golden, about 25 minutes, check your oven.
