How to cook deliciously - Shrimp salad
1. Stage
Our ingredients. Shrimp is better to take a larger shrimp. I had about 400 grams of raw shrimp. The recipe says 1 chilli. A piece of 1.5 cm was enough for me. It was a real flame pepper. So you have to taste it first.
2. Stage
Make the dressing. Mix finely chopped chili, coconut milk, lemon juice, a few pinches of sugar, and soy sauce. A very unusual combination, but it's delicious! It's a great addition to a salad. In the meantime, leave the sauce to infuse.
3. Stage
Peel the mango and cut into small pieces.
4. Stage
We cut the seedless cucumber into thin ribbons, some of which we then slice into straws, and some of which we twist into spirals (more for decoration). I used a regular vegetable peeler to cut thin slices.
5. Stage
Put the shrimp in boiling salted water to boil for 5 minutes. Drain the water. Let it cool and clean.
6. Stage
Finely chop the parsley. The magazine recommends mint and cilantro, but I was not lucky enough to find them in our store. They had coconut milk, but no herbs. I think mint and cilantro would be even more interesting.
7. Stage
Now we assemble the salad in a large bowl. Shrimp, mango, cucumber, parsley-all mixed together. Decorate with spiral flowers of cucumber. Pour sauce over it. Sprinkle nuts on top. Let it stand for a while. We didn't have enough patience.
8. Stage
This is such a bright beauty. The salad is very juicy, pleasing to the eye, flavorful, and, of course, hearty. What does it taste like? I recommend to try it yourself. I can only think of the sea, the tropics and relaxation. A slice of sunshine on a dreary, slushy day, not like in winter. Surprise your family and friends! Happy New Year and all the best!
