Ingredients for - Steel-Cut Oatmeal

1. Water - 3 ½ cups
2. Salt - 1 dash
3. Steel-cut oats - 1 cup
4. Milk - ½ cup
5. Cashews - ½ cup
6. Sweetened dried cranberries (such as Ocean Spray® Craisins®) - ¼ cup
7. Flaked coconut - 2 tablespoons
8. Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
9. Ground cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
10. White sugar, or to taste (Optional) - 1 pinch

How to cook deliciously - Steel-Cut Oatmeal

1. Stage

Bring water and salt to a boil in a saucepan. Stir oats into boiling water; cook oats until thick and soft, 20 to 30 minutes.

2. Stage

Stir milk, cashews, cranberries, coconut, vanilla extract, and cinnamon into cooked oats; continue cooking, stirring frequently, for 10 minutes more.

3. Stage

Sprinkle sugar over oats to serve.
