1. Medium beef heart, rinsed and cubed - 1
2. All-purpose flour - 2 tablespoons
3. Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
4. Onion, peeled and sliced - 1 large
5. Water - 1 cup
6. Salt - 2 teaspoons
7. Seasoned salt - ½ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Beef Heart Stew

1. Stage

Dredge beef heart in flour until coated.

2. Stage

Heat oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

3. Stage

Fry beef heart in hot oil until browned. Stir in onions and water. Season with salt and seasoned salt. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer until meat is very tender, 2 to 3 hours.

Serve over noodles or mashed potatoes.
