1. Cube steaks - 4 (4 ounce)
2. Salt and pepper to taste - 4 (4 ounce)
3. All-purpose flour - ¼ cup
4. Vegetable oil - ⅓ cup
5. Water, or as needed - 2 cups
6. Beef bouillon granules - 1 teaspoon
