How to cook deliciously - Broccoli Casserole

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 325°F. In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the can of cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, 1 cup of cheese and 1-1/4 cups of French-fried onions. Heat through, stirring until blended, four to five minutes.

2. Stage

Add the broccoli to the mixture and stir until it is evenly coated in the sauce. Transfer to a greased, 2-quart baking dish.

3. Stage

Bake, uncovered, until bubbly, 25 to 30 minutes, then sprinkle the broccoli casserole with the remaining cheese and French-fried onions. Return to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted, 10 to 15 minutes. Editor's Tip: We suggest letting this broccoli cheddar casserole stand for 5 to 10 minutes before serving, as the casserole will thicken slightly as it cools.
