1. Ham, diced - 1 pound
2. Black beans, rinsed and drained - 2 (15 ounce) cans
3. Great northern beans, rinsed and drained - 2 (14.5 ounce) cans
4. Quartered artichoke hearts, drained - 1 (14 ounce) can
5. Baby corn, drained and cut into pieces - 1 (14.25 ounce) can
6. Sliced mushrooms, drained - 2 (4.5 ounce) cans
7. Chopped green chilies (Optional) - 1 (4 ounce) can
8. Celery, chopped - 1 bunch
9. Potatoes, peeled and chopped - 2 large
10. Carrot, diced - 1 large
11. Leek, chopped - 1 large
12. Garlic, chopped - 4 large cloves
13. Chopped fresh rosemary - 2 tablespoons
14. Chopped fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon
15. Chopped fresh thyme - 1 tablespoon
16. Brown sugar - ½ cup
17. Creole seasoning - 1 teaspoon
18. White pepper - 1 tablespoon
19. Ground black pepper - 1 tablespoon
20. Salt - 1 tablespoon
21. Cayenne pepper, or more to taste - 1 pinch
22. Dry red wine - 2 tablespoons
23. Water to cover - 2 tablespoons

How to cook deliciously - Dan's Slow Cooker Ham and White Bean Soup

1. Stage

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir diced ham in hot skillet until browned, about 5 minutes. Transfer ham to a slow cooker.

2. Stage

Place black beans, great Northern beans, artichoke hearts, baby corn, mushrooms, green chilies, celery, potatoes, carrot, leek, garlic, rosemary, parsley, thyme, brown sugar, Creole seasoning, white pepper, black pepper, salt, cayenne pepper, and red wine in the slow cooker.

Pour enough water in the slow cooker to cover all the ingredients.

Heat slow cooker on High until boiling; reduce heat to Low and cook about 7 hours.
