6. Salt - ¼ teaspoon
7. Packed brown sugar - 1 cup
8. Vegetable oil - ¾ cup
9. Molasses - ¼ cup
10. Egg - 1
11. Salt - ¼ teaspoon
12. Butter-flavored shortening (such as Crisco®) - 2 tablespoons
13. Confectioners' sugar - 2 cups
14. Orange extract - 1 ½ teaspoons
15. Milk - 2 tablespoons
16. Salt - ¼ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Ginger Cookies with Orange Glaze

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Mix flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt together in a large bowl.

Combine brown sugar, oil, molasses, egg, and 1/4 teaspoon salt in a large bowl; beat with an electric mixer until smooth. Pour over flour mixture; mix until a dough forms.

Roll dough into 1-inch balls and arrange on ungreased baking sheets.
