1. Fresh cranberries - 2 (12 ounce) packages
2. White sugar - 2 ½ cups
3. Orange, zested and juiced - 1 large
4. Minced fresh ginger root - 1 tablespoon

1. Stage

Combine cranberries, sugar, orange zest and juice in a large pot and heat over medium heat. Cook and stir occasionally until berries pop, about 20 minutes. Let cool until thickened.
