1. 1 tablespoon butter -
2. 1 pound ground beef -
3. 1/2 medium onion, chopped -
4. 2 garlic cloves, minced -
5. 1 teaspoon dried oregano -
6. 1 teaspoon salt -

8. 2 cups uncooked instant rice -
9. 1-1/2 cups reduced-sodium beef broth -
10. 1 can (15 ounces) crushed tomatoes -
11. 1 can (10-1/2 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted -
12. 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce -
13. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided -
14. 1/4 cup chopped dill pickle -
15. 1 tablespoon prepared mustard -

How to cook deliciously - Hamburger Rice Casserole

1. Stage

In a medium Dutch oven or nonstick skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the ground beef and onion and cook until beef is browned and onions are tender, about 5 to 6 minutes. Add the minced garlic, oregano, salt and pepper; cook one minute longer. Stir in rice, broth, crushed tomatoes with juice, cream of mushroom soup and Worcestershire Sauce until well-combined.

2. Stage

Cover and cook over low heat until the rice is tender, about 15 to 20 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in 1/2 cup cheddar, pickles and mustard. Top with remaining 1/2 cup shredded cheese. Cover; let cheese melt five minutes. Serve immediately.
