1. Margarine, softened - 1 cup
2. Vegetable oil - 1 cup
3. White sugar - 1 cup
4. Confectioners' sugar, sifted - 1 cup
5. Eggs - 2
6. Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
7. All-purpose flour - 4 cups
8. Baking soda - 1 teaspoon
9. Cream of tartar - 1 teaspoon
10. Salt - 1 teaspoon
11. Chopped pecans - 2 cups
12. White sugar for decoration - ½ cup

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
