1. 1 package (12 ounces) wonton wrappers -
2. 1 pound bulk pork sausage -
3. 2 cups shredded Colby cheese -
4. 1/2 medium green pepper, chopped -
5. 1/2 medium sweet red pepper, chopped -
6. 2 bunches green onions, sliced -
7. 1/2 cup ranch salad dressing -

How to cook deliciously - Sausage Wonton Stars

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Lightly spray a mini muffin tin with cooking spray. Remove a wonton wrapper from the package and gently press it into the muffin tin, creating small folds to fit against the sides of the cups. Place the wraps into the oven and bake for five minutes or until the edges are browned.

2. Stage

Crumble the sausage into a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the sausage, breaking it into small crumbles until it's completely browned with no pink showing. Drain the fat and return the skillet to the heat. Stir in the diced peppers, continuing to cook for another minute until the peppers soften slightly. Remove from the heat and stir in the shredded cheese, green onion and ranch dressing until combined. Spoon one rounded tablespoon into each wonton cup. Place the muffin tin back into the oven and bake for six to seven minutes until heated through and the cheese is bubbly. Serve while hot to the awaiting masses.
