Here's everything we need for the borscht, except the beets, since they're already in the pan. :)

Drain the marinade from the can with the beets into a cup, we will need it again. Put the beets in a frying pan and fry in vegetable oil for 10 minutes. Then add the sauerkraut, pour the beet marinade and stew under a lid for 15-20 minutes.

Cut the potatoes into small cubes and put them into a saucepan with boiling broth or water. In 5 minutes we send beets and cabbage to the pot and in another 5 minutes we add vegetables and mushrooms.
