1. 18 medium fresh mushrooms -
2. 1 can (6 ounces) crabmeat, drained, flaked and cartilage removed -
3. 1/3 cup mayonnaise -
4. 3 tablespoons seasoned bread crumbs -
5. 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese -
6. 1 garlic clove, minced -
7. Minced fresh parsley, optional -

How to cook deliciously - Stuffed Mushrooms with Crabmeat

1. Stage

Sort and clean the mushrooms, remove the stems (discard or save for adding to stock) and set the caps aside. Editor’s Tip: You can avoid soggy mushrooms when you wash them by wiping rather than rinsing the caps.

2. Stage

In a small bowl, combine the crabmeat, mayonnaise, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese and minced garlic. Stuff into the mushroom caps and place on a greased baking sheet.

Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes until the mushrooms are tender. If desired, sprinkle with parsley to serve.
