1. Ground bison 1 ½ pounds
2. Milk 1 cup
3. Italian seasoned bread crumbs ½ cup
4. Chopped green chile peppers ½ cup
5. Bacon bits ½ cup
6. Egg, beaten 1 large
7. Liquid smoke flavoring 1 ½ teaspoons
8. Onion Powder 1 teaspoon
9. Dry mustard ½ teaspoon
10. Garlic powder ¼ teaspoon
11. Ground sage ¼ teaspoon
12. Barbeque sauce, or more to taste ¾ cup

1 . Stage

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2 . Stage

Combine ground bison, milk, bread crumbs, green chile peppers, bacon bits, egg, liquid smoke, onion powder, dry mustard, garlic powder, and ground sage in a bowl. Mix by hand.

Transfer mixture to a 9x5-inch loaf pan. Spread barbeque sauce over the top.
