1. Ground bison - 1 ½ pounds
2. Milk - 1 cup
3. Italian seasoned bread crumbs - ½ cup
4. Chopped green chile peppers - ½ cup
5. Bacon bits - ½ cup
6. Egg, beaten - 1 large
7. Liquid smoke flavoring - 1 ½ teaspoons
8. Onion Powder - 1 teaspoon
9. Dry mustard - ½ teaspoon
10. Garlic powder - ¼ teaspoon
11. Ground sage - ¼ teaspoon
12. Barbeque sauce, or more to taste - ¾ cup

How to cook deliciously - Bison Meatloaf with Green Chile and Bacon

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2. Stage

Combine ground bison, milk, bread crumbs, green chile peppers, bacon bits, egg, liquid smoke, onion powder, dry mustard, garlic powder, and ground sage in a bowl. Mix by hand.

Transfer mixture to a 9x5-inch loaf pan. Spread barbeque sauce over the top.

Bake in the preheated oven until bison is no longer pink, about 1 hour 45 minutes.
