1. 2 loaves (1 pound each) frozen white bread dough, thawed -
2. 1/2 pound mild pork sausage -
3. 1/2 pound bulk spicy pork sausage -
4. 1-1/2 cups diced fresh mushrooms -
5. 1/2 cup chopped onion -
6. 3 large eggs, divided use -
7. 2-1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese -
8. 1 teaspoon dried basil -
9. 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes -
10. 1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed -
11. 1 teaspoon garlic powder -

How to cook deliciously - Breakfast Sausage Bread

1. Stage

Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place until it has doubled. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 350°F and then, in a large skillet, cook the sausage, mushrooms and onion over medium-high heat until the sausage is no longer pink. Break up the sausage into crumbles as it cooks; the process will take six to eight minutes. Then drain off the excess fat and liquid and transfer the cooked mixture to a bowl to cool.

2. Stage

Stir two eggs, the cheese and the seasonings into the filling. Then, roll each loaf of dough into a 16x12-inch rectangle. Spread half of the sausage mixture over each rectangle to within 1 inch of the edges, then roll them up jelly-roll style, starting with a short side. Pinch the seams to seal the rolled bread, then place them on a greased baking sheet.

3. Stage

In a small bowl, whisk the remaining egg, then brush it over the tops of both sausage rolls. Bake the breakfast sausage bread until it's golden brown, which will take 25 to 30 minutes. Serve it warm and enjoy.
