1. Butter, softened - ¾ cup
2. White sugar - ¾ cup
3. Packed brown sugar - ¾ cup
4. Eggs - 2 large
5. Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
6. All-purpose flour - 1 ¼ cups
7. Baking soda - 1 teaspoon
8. Ground cinnamon - ½ teaspoon
9. Salt - ½ teaspoon
10. Rolled oats - 3 cups
11. Butterscotch chips - 1 ⅔ cups

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Beat butter, white sugar, and brown sugar together in a large bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla.
