Ingredients for - Classic Cuban Midnight (Medianoche) Sandwich

1. Sweet bread rolls - 4
2. Mayonnaise - ½ cup
3. Prepared mustard - ¼ cup
4. Thinly sliced cooked ham - 1 pound
5. Thinly sliced fully cooked pork - 1 pound
6. Sliced Swiss cheese - 1 pound
7. Dill pickle slices - 1 cup
8. Butter, melted - 2 tablespoons

1. Stage

Press each sandwich in a sandwich press heated to medium-high heat. If a sandwich press is not available, use a large skillet over medium-high heat, and press the sandwiches down using a sturdy plate or skillet. Some indoor grills may be good for this also.
