Ingredients for - Thai Tuna Burgers

1. Fresh tuna steaks, minced 1 ½ pounds
2. Dry bread crumbs ½ cup
3. Finely chopped green onion ¼ cup
4. Grated carrot ¼ cup
5. Minced fresh ginger root 1 tablespoon
6. Chopped fresh cilantro 1 tablespoon
7. Sesame oil 1 teaspoon
8. Ketchup 1 tablespoon
9. Lite soy sauce 1 tablespoon
10. Ground cumin ½ teaspoon
11. Salt ¼ teaspoon
12. Black pepper ¼ teaspoon
13. Egg, beaten 1
14. Hamburger buns 6
15. Lettuce leaves - rinsed and dried 6
16. Tomatoes, sliced 2 medium

How to cook deliciously - Thai Tuna Burgers

1 . Stage

In a bowl, thoroughly mix minced tuna, bread crumbs, green onion, carrot, ginger, cilantro, sesame oil, ketchup, soy sauce, cumin, salt, pepper, and egg. Cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Preheat oven broiler.

3 . Stage

Form tuna mixture into 6 patties, and place in a broiler pan on top oven rack. Cook, uncovered, 4 minutes per side, or until easily flaked with a fork. Serve on hamburger buns with lettuce and tomato.
