Ingredients for - Not-Barbecued Short Ribs

1. Onions, chopped 3 large
2. Beef short ribs, or more to taste 7 pounds
3. Salt and ground black pepper to taste 7 pounds
4. Water 3 cups
5. Pineapple chunks in juice, undrained 2 (20 ounce) cans
6. Brown sugar 1 ½ cups
7. Worcestershire sauce 7 tablespoons
8. Ketchup 5 tablespoons
9. Garlic, minced, or more to taste 4 cloves
10. Dried sage 1 tablespoon
11. Dried thyme 1 tablespoon
12. Dry mustard 1 ½ teaspoons

How to cook deliciously - Not-Barbecued Short Ribs

1 . Stage

Spread onion into the bottom of the crock of your slow cooker. Season short ribs with salt and pepper; place atop the onion.

2 . Stage

Mix water, pineapple chunks with juice, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, garlic, sage, thyme, and mustard together in a bowl; pour over the ribs.

3 . Stage

Cook on High for 4 hours (on on Low for 6 to 8 hours).
